Alien Totem

"As night approaches these alien totems once again erupt from ground. These totems bring an oasis of light and warmth essential to the survival of many species. Without these ancient artifacts many creatures simply would not survive the frigid nights of the planet."

This piece was created for the purpose of exploring Rigid Body Dynamics in Houdini. This also happened to be the first quality piece I created entirely inside of Houdini using Redshift to render. I learned a lot with this piece and have shared some of the things I learned on my YouTube channel through tutorials based around the RBD tools inside Houdini.
