Environmental Anomaly

First big project in Clarisse. Decided to push it in terms of geometry and volumes to see what it was capable of and what the workflows would be like. Also wanted to create something that I could give an interesting back story.

"When we first came to the surface of this new planet we saw a giant structure shrouded in cloud cover. Our scanners showed us the path through the clouds was clear. The scanners also showed something at the center with an incredible amount of gravity pulling at everything surrounding it. It was almost like this anomaly had ripped the pillars up from the surface.

After checking the scanners we pushed through the cloud cover to see what was inside. As long as we did not get too close with our ship the gravity would not be able to overpower our thrusters. The whole purpose of our contract was to find and catalog these anomalies so they could be studied in greater detail by the scientists.

After a short time in cloud cover we came into the main chamber with the anomaly. The scanners quickly started running their tests and we launched a probe at it. The gravitational pull quickly sent the probe hurtling towards the center before it totally vanished as if it was sucked into another dimension. That's all we needed to know. It was clear this was a Class X anomaly and would without a doubt bring a nice bonus. A research team would be deployed within hours. All we had to do then was get to a safe place to send the long range transmission which would prove to be a lot easier said than done."
